Default Bi-monthly Photo Contest: "Winter Wonderland"

Shazam, we are into the Christmas season already! Well where did the year go, brrr it's starting to get cold now. You all had to see the last round of voting for the highly successful "Run what you brung" photo contest. That was some of the sketchiest voting, the votes were all over the map, it was impossible to guess the outcome. Just when it looked like we were in for a 3 way tie, here comes drivernumber3 taking the lead, and I was thinking the win. Astonishingly here come a flurry of votes for Tweeks photo pushing him past drivernumber3 for a decisive 3 vote lead for the win. Wow, never saw that one coming. Thank all of you MCF members for making this contest our most successful ever, with the most submissions and votes! That was an epic "Team Monte Carlo" effort, thanks everyone, you all deserve a pat on the back.

Our new contest theme has been put forth by our current contest winner Chris aka "Tweek" and his wanting to embrace our present time of the year, has elected as our new theme one that he wants to call "Winter Wonderland"
In his words .....................

"Ok this one was a no brainer for the theme. Since we are in the holiday season let's capture the holidays from all over. Whether you shoot by a Christmas tree or a house decorated with lights or having fun in the snow with family. Let's see the holidays by you"

This should be a pretty colorful event, and one with a lot of diversity. Do you put X-mas lights on your Monte, a wreath, drive it through 5" of snow. Perhaps your city has a lighting display you can take advantage of. Maybe you can grab Santa and have him drive your heated Monte instead of his sled for a few minutes. This could be an opportunity for making some memorable winter pictures with your Monte Carlo.

Okay so drink some holiday cheer to warm you up and get that Monte out in the cold for this special moment. We are under a winter storm watch in Utah tonight, expecting 2 ft. in the mountains and 10" in the valleys. And it' heading your way back east, lol, here comes the snow, get ready!

So please lets submit your pictures to his thread, all in by this coming Sat night the 19th of Dec. The photo's can be no more than 3 months old, no photo shopping and you Monte must be in the picture. And get this, the voting session will end the following week on Christmas Day! How awesome is that!

"The Winter Wonderland" yep it's here. No snow to speak of early in the week we got about 1.5 inches of rain, if that was snow I heard about 15 inches. But it was 26 degrees when I took this shot this morning at 5:53AM it was still dark out. Right down town.
