Sorry it took me so long to get this posted everyone.
Life and work got way too busy on me!!!

 

No worries! It was a crappy turn out, so it was a good idea to leave it open a little longer, even if to no avail.

It would appear that Monte Carlo owners love their cars to much to ever get them dirty aside from Ivan, drivernumber3's mystery Monte owner and myself. I guess it is a good thing that the members have so much pride in their cars, although I was hoping this one would be of interest to some members without "showcars" who maybe aren't as used to seeing their car win contests. None-the-less, I think we got 3 great photo's to choose from...

 

A little story about this Monte Carlo about a year ago I was home for a couple of weeks and my son was on a kick to get a Pickup truck. We drove to this dealer North and west of where I live, and looked at some trucks they had but they were really rust buckets. While the guy is trying to sell this truck to my son, the sales mgr. looks at me and says come outside, across the street was a car wash an this Taz Monte Carlo was in that carwash and the owner was drying it off.
He told me the guy comes down to the carwash and washed it everyday.
At the time I wasn't able to see enough of it to tell weather it was a 6th or 7th Gen or an LS or SS. But it was really clean then. I had hoped to see it again to take a better picture.
My son didn't get his pickup truck that day but we got to see some kool cars and I was able to test drive my very first Chevy SS.
This one was all black and the rear wheel drive was fun to drive. It looks like a Malibu but distinctive. They had had it so long that they had reduced it so even I could afford it. But I didn't.

Heck, I did not even know the rule until Junior Car read them and saw that about the winner starting the thread. Zippy02 wrote the rules and I guess I did not read that part so I was starting it all that time...LOL
