I went again this year, was loads of fun as always. There were quite a few 6th gens there for sale- I want to say 4 or 5. All were special editions with really low mileage. Good to see they got decent money out of that one!

What do they do, get most everyone hopped up on some brews and then start the auction? That TS edition went for way more than I thought it would sell for. Maybe it's the notoriety behind the Stewart name?

So where do you live, in Phoenix or what outlying city? I may be going to Phoenix in a couple of months to visit a brother there. I lived in Mesa for 8 years, then headed north to Utah.

I'm sure that's part of it. I think the bigger part is the group they try to appeal to. The whole show caters to an upper-middle class / upper class crowd. I imagine some of these guys don't want to look like cheapskates in front of their rich friends- especially on the comparatively cheap cars like this.

I'm always surprised what some of these cars go for though, some go high, some go low. I expected all of these Montes to go pretty low. They were definitely low mileage, but this type of car isn't exactly a good match compared to the other things offered at the show IMO.

Maricopa - just south of the city.
