Smile BangShift New Car Review: The 2012 Buick Regal GS [w/video]

Hi Member's,
One of my grandfather's friends just purchased a
2012 Buick Regal GS like below & I did a web search to see
what it looked like & read a review on it...
Since it's a GM Product, I thought some member's would enjoy reading about this Turbo Four Banger with a six (6) speed stick...I'm looking forward 2 the oppurtunity to drive it 4-Sure

Buick fans, it’s time to tell your friends that “Going Fast with Classis back! After seven days and seven hundred-plus miles behind the wheel of a 2012 Buick Regal GS, I came away both impressed and relieved. I was impressed with the overall quality of the car, the refinement it exuded, the style and the performance. I was relieved that the car lived up to my expectations and that it didn’t fall into any of the historical traps American cars like this have fallen into over the past 20-odd years. The 2012 Buick Regal GS is more than equipped to stand up to and trade blows with the Audi A4, Lexus IS250, Acura TSX and, in my opinion, a base 3 Series BMW. It really is that good.

and watch the vid....I wasn't 2 sure on the looks, but after I watched the vid & looked @ the pic's I think it's a really big improvement for GM & Buick...

2012 Buick Regal GS, at the General Motors Heritage Center in Sterling Heights, Mich., with a 1963 Riviera, 1970 GSX and 1987 GNX.
Hagerty, the collector-car specialist and insurance company, included the 2012 Buick Regal GS among its annual Hot List of collectible cars, an indication that the turbocharged Buick sedan could become coveted hardware for collectors in coming decades.

Please post your thoughts/comments ~> EnJoy, Thank You!
It maybe not be 4 everyone, but it's a superSuper Young Grandfather's ride 4-Sure

You really know about cars...I will have to do more research & read about the V6 `Turbo...
I just think it's great that my grandfather's friend who is in his mid 70's + got a Turbo + a six speed stick ...He had a Grand National b-4 I was born & met him, but he's a car nut.
He had a Infinti coupe b-4, but it was a automatic...
Thanks for sharing/posting

p.s. I can't wait to get back home & get a chance to drive `it + I'm really home sick + (miss the ocean 2)....
I hope 2 see my beachbum friends this weeked
Wish you & Member's a Super Day/WeekEnd

All in all not bad considering the target audience GM was going after. I can see it filling a niche in the market.

GM is actually working on a twin-turbo version of the 3.6 V6 that you see in a bunch of cars. They have it estimated at 400hp/425tq right now. Figure that will probably be the base power-plant of the ATS and Camaro, that is CRAZY. Especially since I'm sure modding will open up those twin-turbos very nicely

They can do a lot with turbos and smaller engines. I wouldn't be so sure that we will be running miniature engines just yet
