Talking bahaha fastball beetle!

When it comes to devotion, few can claim to rival Fremont-Mills (Iowa) High senior Mindy Lorimor's commitment to softball. To judge the teen's priorities, one need only take a glance at her car: A bright yellow Volkswagen beetle, painted with softball-red stitching. The license plate? Iowa number "LVSFTBL."

...would have been a lot cooler if the beetle was white instead of yellow lol

X2

Unless you know what it's supposed to be, I don't know if you'd guess correctly or not. From a distance it kinda looks like they're using some red tape to hold the hood and trunk closed. Cool idea. But needs to be white.

I'm wondering if the red stitching is really painted on. Or if the writer assumed they were painted on. I know you can get yellow softballs. But people would be more familiar with the standard white. I'm thinking the owner probably had the stitching made out of vinyl decals. So he/she can simply peel them off when it's time to sell/trade the car.
