Back story,

Mike(President of my car club) buys this truck wrecked,
he works for his old man and majority of their business is salvage cars so no big deal

Makes and agreement with a budy that he will buy him a motor(ls or lq) when the truck is done, tone of work gets done and the guy just quit comming to work on it, Mike can't get ahold of the guy but that this point most of the big shet is done, frame is notched and front control arms and mounts done,

So after sitting for almost a year without anything getting done we decided to start working on it, Mike, Hirdy (mike's buddy) and I (i have been dropping hints to get this moving)

This is what it looked like when he picked it up, was a work truck

This is it's currant state (was taken a while ago just after the mounts where put on and they tossed the bags in and pulled it out )


and now we are working on all the little bs stuff, plumbing,valves, wiring, painting ect. should be on it's own 4 again soon,
we are working a couple of hours every tues and thurs

the set up the pumps are mounted on the outside of the frame by the bumper

Last night we didn't get much done but stuff that needs to get done,
got the bat cables extended, i did a finail assembly one the valve block and wired up all they solenoids so they are ready to be ran into the cab,

i figure I'm going to update this as we go just because it is a fun custom project,

Bagged trucks are sweet i want to build one of my own, is it gonna stay white?

Heres a few local trucks

 

Right now the plan is to stay white, which would be smart since he started painting stuff white lol, he has a mint box, gate, light he got from a company that puts utility boxes on, for dirt cheap

 

Thatll look good, he should cut the frame down so itll lay flat on the ground, itll look really clean white

 

in all honesty at this point he's trying to get it done to sell it, has a kid on the way, plus he is doing a valve block for driverside and on for passenger, (instead of front and back) ant the block i was mounting in the pic is for the driver side ,still wishing we could have found a better place to mount it, and the passenger side is getting mounted to the outside if the frame where under the cab so we need that clearance for lines

 

Looks like a nice little project. Can't wait to see the final product.

 

Looks pretty cool, personally I can't stand lowered trucks lol seems like a waste of a truck to me haha

 

Justin I love it when a truck is slamed. Nothing cooler Looks like you guys are really getting a handle on it. Should bring in a few bucks. Mike Got any pic's of the blue on in your last picture ? Ya got to love white on anything. LOOKS clean and smooth

 

I've never really been a fan of a slammed truck for practical purposes but show only type of trucks are cool

Any idea what he'll be asking when its all done? Seems like a lot of work and $$$ would go into something like this.

Regardless, can't wait to see the progress. As Mike said, it will look really clean all white

 

Its gonna look great when its finished. I like properly lowered trucks. My buddy cut about 3 coils of his s10 in the 90s and it rode a bit rough.
