bad news
thanks josh, its definatly a load off of me. 9 days of no sleep, hospital food, and jerkoff nurses that seem to take pleasure in cussing out patients that cant help themselves. man i cant wait to write the editor of my local paper.
just like the bible says "when 2 or more come together in prayer miraculous things do happen" and its so true, between our prayers, my pastor performing a prayer circle for grandma, and multiple churches putting her on prayer list shes gone from layin there sufffering and gasping for life to watchin tv, drinking coffee and making smart remarks like "lucky for you i didnt die cos i forgot to put u in my inheritance" lmao
gotta love grandparents

sounds like she is goign to be around to pick on you for a bit longer.
you need it. LOL
as far as the hospital food etc.... i feel for ya i have been there and done that after my G-father had his stroke i was there for the entire time he was in the hospital before he finally passed. he never came out of the comma he fell in to after it hit him. but i can feel for ya on the food and ******* Doctors and nurses at that time.
But remeber one thing to them they see this stuff daily and even if you are having a real hard time dealing with it to them it is thier job. and sometimes they act like that so they can get the information they need to do it better. I still dont think there is a Excuse for this but seems to be the trend every where.
Glad to ehar she is drinking her coffie and picking on you. means my request came true LOL
Later bud!! Hope it continues to get better for her and you

When my sister was up in Cleveland we would take turns staying with her.
We would tell the staff off for the stupid s--t they did that involved my sister. Yes I know they see this stuff every single day. And it's like they become insensitive to it. I do realize it's a job to them.
But some of the crap was just plain stupid.
It got to the point they would say to my sister, "Is your family coming back soon?"
(TOO BAD!!) [sm=exactly.gif]

R.J i cant say i never told any of them off. should have seen me when my wife was in the hospital and the DR. came in and told me i had to leave while he did a check on her after the car accedent. YEAH!! that worked out real good for him. As he was about our age and she was basically not dressed becuse of the gowens they put ya in. he was actually trying to hit on her while he was attempting to fix her up.
yeah i was tossed out that night by the local police dept and a security guard. but she was right along with me when that happend she refused to stay there.
funny part we never have recived a bill for that night and it has been over 6 years now .

yeah well the nurses would do stuff like this
they put my grandma on pills to make her pee cos she was retaining fluids and she was too weak to take her self so she'd call the nurses and they would come take her to the bathroom then she'd call again and they would be like "what the f*k is wrong with you? why dont u get it all out the last time are you too stuipd to know how to **** properly"
and then when we got there to begin with we waited a hour for her room after the doctor ordered her there, got her to the room where she waited 3hrs in a wheelchair b4 they would put her in a bed then 4 and a half hours later they finally got someone thtere to start the iv then when they started oxygen the nurse was like "god da** why the f*k do i always hafta deal with this bullsh** with these patients" i mean it was completely nonstop attitude with these people and they not once got her food order right. so needless to say after she got sent home i told every single nurse off and then removed myself from the building cussing and flipping off the entire way, and oh yeah i am most certanly going to write a letter to the editor of my newspaper and hell i might even go on the news and let know
but what ive told you is just a miniscule fraction of the crap she had to deal with there. ill tell more if yall are interested

I'm glad to hear your grandma is doing better. Hopefully she continues to do so.
As far as the doctors/nurses I think my dad hit the nail on the head the other day when he said to me, "It's all about the money these days. All they want to do is pump drugs into you & collect their money. Theydon't really givea sh*tabout the patients like they did in the past." I don't necessarily want to agree with him, but when I here the kind of things your grandma is being put through it makes it hard not to.
God bless,
Glenn

Mickey,
Unbelieveable man.
Before my sister went to Cleveland for the bone marrow transplant she was in another Ohio hospital a few times for people with cancer.
One time they gave my sister's medication to another man with the same medical problem (lukemia). My family was furious!!!
My sister bought/paid for her own medications and took them with her any time she was admitted.
The director of the hospital promised to get to the bottom of this event and even promised NOT to charge my sister for her stay or any care she received this particular time. (HA! RIGHT!)
They did send her bills for this stay. I told her do NOT pay them but she did
Chris, sorry for hijacking your thread. Hope your grandmother recovers 100%.
