We've always had problems with BP gas. I forgot the exact problems we had, but I can ask later today. I always try to use Shell when I am at home and Route 66 when I'm at school. I love Shell gas

Maybe the Brits aren't refining htat oil like they should when tehy siphon it off the gulf.

I'd have to think it is that particular station. Is it old? Some stations have old tanks in the ground and some trash and moisture floating around in them and it will cause problems like tha.t My parents got some "sludge" in the tank and it was just rough driving for about 500 miles in that Suburban until that stuff ran its way through. I really don't think the problem is BP in general. There is an Exxon here in twon that 3 of my friends and myself have noticed that gas mielage is not as good from that place. I've filled up with Exxon elsewhere and done well.

I have found out that BP gas SUCKS and makes your car run like crap. I have recently switched from BP to Shell and I can feel a difference. No joke, DONT USE BP GAS IN YOUR CARS, unless you dont take care of them.

yea the cat has a 10/120,000 mile warrenty on them. i just had mine replaced under that. mine was plugged it felt like the tranny was slipping and my gas milage went way down, and i lost alot of power. and now the car runs like a different car lots of power again, gas milage went back up, exhaust is louder/deeper sounding again, and it starts way better now.

lol i was gonna say something similar.

why on earth would you support bp right now.

anyways i think most gas comes from bp or exxon.

some places have addatives or dyes that make them unique.
i personally go to shell whenever i can, sometimes i have to settle for circle k. not all stats have gas quality requirements, but some brands do.

Apparantly BP is damaging your car in addition to the gulf coast.

If you need to replace your cat, maybe think about doing a high flow cat with an aftermarket exhaust of your choice.
Only one, but how much different could another one really be..? I guess that invigorate doesn't keep my car running new like advertised.... HA...

Wish I had the cash to do something like that!

My next tank I'm going to fill up at holiday see how that gas feels.. I'm kind of glad that I'm not the only one who has had a problem... means I'm not crazy.

I forgot to mention, the reason I switched from BP to Shell was cause of this whole oil spill deal (did you hear, they now say there were warning signs of this?) but yeah, Shell is the best gas Ive ever used.

So was I... until it stopped being available here They took all the 94 buttons and just made them giant 93 buttons. So Sunoco 93 is all I use.

Also Sunoco is/was a major company for Philadelphia, so you have to support

I am a fan of Chevron gas, for some of you it may be Texaco, depending on where you live, but they are the same.

Although if I did not have a Chevron card, I used to use either Chevron, Shell, 76 (conoco for those of you not on the west coast). The only cheap gas I used was Costco, because IMO it was good quality, and ALWAYS fresh gas due to the massive quantities they sell.
