I go to work at 4:30 in the morning and it is a 15 minute commute for me at that time. I probably would not like the commute if I had to drive at 7:30 - 8:30 as that would double if not triple my travel time.

Blow their horns, givesthe finger, etc :D[/align][align=center][/align][align=center]It's like a city race course, with bad drivers.[/align][align=center]Maybe, it's just when I drive up there : )[/align][align=center]Orlando really has grown, & I think the roads didn't grow[/align][align=center]with it. I live about 5 minutes away from my job. So I can't complain about my commute. It's also the main reason I only put 69,000 kilometers on my previous car in the 8 years I owned it.

Don't work on Mondays and I'm usually on the road before fog begins :-p

Jobless at the moment :( One of the worst things about switching schools in the middle of the year is that most places have had there opening filled, still looking though. Over the summer it was about an hour fifteen for the drive on the highway to my uncle's place, but he put me up during the week so I just made the trip every Monday and Friday.

I walk to work, my shop is on my property. I guess I could park closer to the porch then drive like 2 car lengths to the shop porch, then back up two car lengths to come home. LOL

I'm surprised Boston wasn't close to the top of the list. My wife leaves her office at 5:00PM and doesn't get home until after 6:30-7:00. Bumper to bumper commute for miles and miles leaving Boston and heading North on Interstate 93.
One guy gets a flat or runs out of gas and the whole parade grinds to a halt.

the good 'ol days are almost over for me. i live 3.5 miles from school. starting in the fall, i've got about a 40 mile drive both ways to college. the dorms there are unfurnished, and cost almost as much as gas to live at home... so the plan is to just drive like heck to wake forest every day :)

Denver is a very bad commute...I live 45 miles from where I work. All you ever see is the city submerged in a dark brown cloud ...LOL ewwww

I'll have to burn out all the carbon from the past few years. it is 0 miles interstate too. i'll have to take State Route 96 to State Route 56 toUS Highway 1 (4 lane road, few readlights to southeastern), then a mile and a half to the school from US 1.

Radar detectors are about half worthless around here. All the cops have push button radar, and they can write you a ticket here without getting a steady readout on you. Parking is descent there as well, nice wide spots (unlike my high school spots that a pick up truck can barelly fit in with a few inches on each side). I'm looking forward to college and my life journey.

The first link is the seminary, the second is the college. However, the campus is the old Wake Forest Campus. They bought it back in 1950 I believe.

[align=center]Sorry `Duane, I got lost in Cyber Space again.[/align][align=center]I've been having a problem on my net commutes lately : ([/align][align=center]http://www.secwf.edu/images/jump_to_sebts.gif[/align][align=center][:-][/align][align=center]I see on your site that the college has Online Class.[/align][align=center]Will you be able to take any of them from your home[/align][align=center]and save you some miles.[/align][align=center]I've learned that most professor's don't care `if you are in class[/align][align=center]or not, as long as you come in for the test.[/align][align=center]Right now, that's what I'm doing since I am without my [/align][align=center]Monte Carlo.[/align][align=center]Thanks for posting your links, I will check them out.[/align][align=center]Wish you a Safe Commute : )[/align][align=center]`Space[/align]

Hey... I probablyhave thetoughestcommute. I have to battle all the weather to back out ofthe driveway... then pull back in... and fight all the weather to get back inside. I rushand get myself a cup of coffee, and sit at my computer filling out as many job applications I can for MLive, Michigan Talent Bank, Career Builders, Yahoo Jobs, and Monster.com. Then I have to go outside, fight all the weather, get in my car... Back out of the driveway... look around, and pull back in. Then get out and fight all the weather and go back inside.

Makes for a tough day and tough commute...;):):D
