I go to napa, only because its the only one in the town.. We have an Auto Parts Extra in the next town, but I find they are quite a bit more expensive.

 

napa here, stealership i work for owns one so i get 15% over cost for everything. now they really seem to play it loose on pricing, different shops around town get different discounts depending on volume and the regulars get deals depending on how the manager knows them or how well i dont know how he keeps all his prices straight.... its kinda a good ol boys special discount place.

 

HyperFox you should shoot me pm's when you need pricing, your in trenton are you not?? its not that expensive to ship there and i could probably save you money in the long run, i just shipped an a.c compressor way up near thunderbay and it only cost 10 bucks to ship it, and the guy saved 200 bucks on one part

 

i shop NAPA, i find auto zone to be a bunch of cheap crap. my dad has put 3 auto zone alternators and 2 compressors on his suburban.

 

No Pepboys or Checker Auto Parts? We have a really good Pepboys out here in Vegas. I used to go to Napa back home, but after I modded my Silverado, I went through 3 Napa U-joints. I snapped one doing a burnout in a parking lot, one at the 1/4 mile track at launch, and one while hauling some rock. Kinda put a bad taste in my mouth.
