I assumed watch video meant more like youtube, not full tv shows haha

That's the only reason I suggested a netbook. Comfy sofa forum browsing :P

I would really really really recommend a Mac Book Pro...but that's gonna be a bit out of your price range I love mine though, definitely worth it for schooling!

yeah i agree, its good for browsing, but i haven't heard the best about them, maybe i just have biased friends? =P

A netbook does what it is meant to do. Get you surfing the net lol. You can't do too much on them, which is what I thought the OP needed. I was wrong

Get the cheapest laptop you can buy, it should be sufficient if you aren't planning on running any big applications, or games.

I personally would never buy a netbook, ever. No optical drive is a huge fail.

^ I would go for that Dell at NewEgg. Looks to be the best so far price/spec wise. Plus I think you get out of paying tax with NewEgg.
