If you are running Windows XP.... Install the Microsoft PowerToy called Image Resizer.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/D...powertoys.mspx

Simply right click on a file and click Resize Image. Badabing Badaboom.

Photobucket has a thumbnail setting on their web site you can re-size a photo to. It's pretty close the avatar size when used.

You could also use Paint.

Edit > Select All
Image > Attributes

Change pixel numbers to the minimum acceptable for the avatar.

Or use Image > Stretch and Screw to change the Stretch percentages (ie. 50%/50% or 20%/20% etc.) This way it will keep the same scale size without affecting the image much.

You can select the size you want the photo to be when you upload your pic to photobucket. There's a pulldown menu near the upload button.

Hey Josh. I resized them as best I could, to best fit with the site's size restriction on avatars.
