I was just gonna post something in the blog about all the moves the last 2 days. I am a Lions fan and a fan. Neither team looked good last year I like a few of the moves Detroit has made but some of them are disappointing. I really liked a few of the players they got rid of. Same thing with the Steelers. I will miss James Harrison and Rashad Mendenhall. I guess the coaches and staff know a lot more then me on who to keep and who to trade.

Detroit looks great this year! It all depends on which QB Staffod brings out next year, the good side of him or the garbage one
You got Reggie Bush on the ground and Calvin Johnson in the air, sounds good!

Havn't seen the Giants make any Big moves yet

giants are always iffy.
Even there past 2 superbowls they got in by making it through the wildcard round at 8-8 because they started the season so crappy. They lost a few good players too this year.

Honestly Detroit looks great every year. Then we end up 4-12.

I am a Lions fan, although football really isn't up there in my interests. Now hockey is another story.

Anyway, I can say the Lions have been a much more entertaining team to watch over the past several years compared to 5+ years ago. Matthew Stafford to Calvin Johnson can be deadly when they're clicking, and I'd argue there's times when those two are the best QB/receiver pair in the league. The running game has been slowly improving over the past few years but still leaves much to be desired.

Lions got contract restructuring from Ndamukong Suh, Calvin Johnson, and a few others (Matthew Stafford is currently working to do so as well). The restructuring and subsequent cap relief made it possible for the team to make some big free agent moves, acquiring Reggie Bush, Glover Quin, Jason Jones, Chris Houston, and Louis Delmas. Currently looking to re-sign Jason Hanson and Lawrence Jackson.

It'll be interesting to see what Reggie Bush can do for Detroit. It does look like we lost Titus Young to St. Louis though. He was a good WR next to Calvin Johnson. Tony Scheffler has been a pretty solid TE for the Lions.
