Watch the Porsche Cayman GT4 and 911 GT3 RS Go Head to Head

March 29, 2015 1:30 PM

For what seems like the longest time, enthusiasts have always wanted Porsche to make the Cayman a little bit better. People wanted them to create something that could take on the company’s poster child, the 911. However, that never happened, and with good reason. Porsche sells its image on the back of the 911 range. Without it, what would the brand be?
That said, for 2015, Porsche finally wised up and built a competent Cayman that could possibly take on the 911. We’re sure that this new Cayman won’t steal that many sales away from the marque’s top dog and we applaud Porsche for finally building the Cayman GT4. But it is quick, as you can see below.

I wouldn't mind having any of those 3.8s. They would work great in my monte since mine is old and slow. hahaha
