BREAKING NEWS: Friend Says Andy Griffith Has Died

A timeless icon for us North Carolinians....

Perhaps the Mayans were right. On the year we aren't supposed to have a new year, we lose Dick Clarke, Carroll Shelby, and now Andy Griffith.....

Unhappy R.i.p

Hi `Duane, another reminder that the end of human life will end for `all. and we never really know when ? What `if ?
I wasn't sure who the Mayans were so I looked it `up and will post a link for others that may not have known (?) I hope the below is not `True, but what `if ?
Makes me wanta Party `Now !!!

2012 End-of-the-World Countdown Based on Mayan Calendar Starts Today

We’re getting close to Dec. 21, 2012, the date that theancient Mayan Long Count calendar allegedly marked as the end of an era that would reset the date to zero and signal the end of humanity.

But will it?

R.I.P

Andy Griffith

Default Andy

Perhaps one of the best T.V Dads of all time. I know that I could relate to Opie and the respect that he showed toward "Andy" , his Pa. We don't have T.V. Dad's like that anymore....

Sorry to see him gone. I remember watching re-runs of The Andy Griffith Show. Great show. And you didn't see him in the tabloids for doing stupid crap like many other celebrities. He seemed like a classy, stand-up guy.
