I don't know what they were looking for specifically, but our predisesors did a few things shady, it appears, and the Army is just now catching up. "criminal fraud" is the term that was thrown around loosly. I've been there 2 months, and I am the engineering manager of a small defense contractor. It doesn't effect us (yet).
This military spending cut could hurt us down the road, but I doubt it. We have 1 1/2 years of contracted work right now. That could impact future contracts.

Justin...I hope everything works out for your Mom and family!
Space...I'm not even sure when i'll get my Monte back. Last time I checked on it, they had not even toached it since the previous week. My guess is parts are still on order. The originally told me once they get parts its a 5-6day job, and they said I might have it by the end of the month (don't see that happening) or first week of August. So in the man time its just a matter of waiting, driving around in the Cobalt (which is actually a pretty decent car) and hoping that insurance does not stick it to me on my premiums to much.
I slept in a little this morning and got to work a hour late...ooops...LOL I figured I came in 2 hours early yesterday, so what the hell, i'd take back an hour today...LOL! So i'm in a pretty damn good mood this morning!
Mike, i'm drinking coffee and eating a light blueberry yogurt. :p

I just had a phone interview for a possible real job! It went well so now I have a face to face interview tomorrow @10am! It's for a company that does trade show displays and this position is for an Art Coordinator and Prepress person - right up my alley!

Good luck tomorrow Amy! Art Coordinator sounds impressive. I wish I had such a title. I'm a "parts guy". What else do you call that? Maybe I'll call it Parts Coordinator. Wow... that just blew my mind!
I've driven naked before. Did it as a teenager all the time - usually after swimming or something wet. I'd have my drawers hanging off the side view mirror of the Firebird drying. Made me horny, which a teenager needs no help with. I don't do this anymore, especially in the Monte since the BudChev draws attention. Its tinted, but a naked guy driving it would not be missed.
