Question 86 Monte, what are your thoughts on it?

Craigslist Ad:

It's an 86 Monte Carlo with 52,000 (not 152,000) miles. 4.3L fuel injected. Interior is almost perfect, body is very good (has maybe 3 small places where it's starting to rust). Inspected, new shocks, brakes, and rotors. 2nd owner, bought from the dealership where it was first purchased, and still have the window sticker and manual. Here's the bad thing. It'll run for a week or so with a charged battery, then it dies. The alternator checked out good. Besides that, it's perfect mechanically. I just don't have the time to mess with it.

86 Monte Carlo 52,000 miles - $4250 (Butler, PA)

Hi Chris,
Below is one in your area...Check'it `out It's a 6 & it looks super clean in the pic's & the price is right.. & the miles are really low for a 85, plus it has passed PA inspection.....I like it a lot better then the above & this one is way lower in $'s....Let us know what U decide...
Good Luck...
I like this one

It's an 86 Monte Carlo with 52,000 (not 152,000) miles. 4.3L fuel injected.
1. Prove the mileage. Cause they all roll back to 00000 at 100,000 miles.
2. Anyone catch the "4.3 fuel injected" They didn't make many 1980s Montes with FI. That in itself could be worth the asking price. AS long as it's still intacted. And they made zero SSs with FI.
3. The car also has bucket seats and console. This car was ordered from the factory. Very few SCs got this option.

85 up all the v6 cars were 4.3 fi.
