.......Now that's what I'm talking about ! Old School stock car racing.
Compared to what they are racing now, that car along with the other Real
stockers were amazing with the speeds they were running. But also look
how unsafe that thing is compared to todays cars. But Hey........NO GUTS....
NO GLORY !

Back then manufacturer backing and money from STP and Purolator and Coca~Cola woudl win races... today the competition is much tighter, back then a couple of good tricks and a good driver and a strong car, and a little luck would win a race. Now you've got to fight for every hp, you're walking a razor blade as far as what you can and cannot do, NASCAR has put these guys in a box as far as what they can and cannot do. It's hard to runaway with a race like some of those guys used to... one good pit stop adjustment can put you back in the running or put you out of it. An 1/8th of a pound in one tire on the final pit stop can be the difference. Back then it was not nearly as tight of a racing... usually 4-5 cars on the lead lap at the end of the race...

How do I know this when I'm only 20... I actually get bored and watch classic NASCAR races on YouTube

Maybe I should break down and finally read this issue? Instead of it just laying on the coffee table?
