I agree Space dude! That car is way too nice to be a beater. That would be a super waste of a really nice car.

Personally, I don't "beat" on any car I've ever owned. I always keep them in the best shape I can.

For my purposes, I would buy that Monte as a great daily driver. And keep my other Monte for special occasions.

 

hey i never said beater, i would take great care of it and not beat on it, but i would hate to drive my newer monte in crappy conditions, fearing i get into some diffficult winter driving, thanks for everyone who has mads posts on this! i knew i would get great information from everyone here and believe me i'm really starting to like the 5th gens, i'm a monte junkie lately, i might need an intervention soon!!! i can't help it!!

 

why would you need an intervention? montes are cool, comfertable and all around great cars, no matter the year. i would take being a monte junkie over being a honda civic junkie anyday. come to think of it, id take death over being a honda junkie, lol.

 

i don't really need on for monte lovers, just a few other issues in my life! see ya
