04 yellow pace car coming up in a few minutes lot #59

 

I checked out the link when it was first posted. I only saw the 04 in the list. Didn't see the other two. I must be blind. lol. The 04 looks kinda cool. Would love to own it. Would love to use the strobes in traffic too. Neither of them would ever happen.

Would love to own a lot of the cars I've seen on Barrett Jackson. But would need a garage the size of Jay Leno's. And the bank account to match.

 

As I'm watching the auction now. I see the 04 Monte is coming up next.

& is it just me or is it kinda weird seeing a 6th gen monte on Barrett-Jackson?!?

 

That F'er was sharp. Did he say they were Boring? Don't think Ive saw one that looked like that. 16,5 not bad.

 

Only $16,500 for that car?!? Mine was more then that. I was expecting that to be in the 20s at least

 

no they said that people thought that front wheel drive cars were boring until these Montes came out. I didn't see all of it unfortunately

 

I could have swore he then said you were right he first time--they were boring! I even rewinded it. How many miles were on that? Have you ever saw one with that scheme?

 

I'm disappointed. First it went for only $16,500. But even more disappointing was the tv commentator commenting on the fact it's FWD. "... it's got a lot of front line punch. But it's still BORING."

Plus the fact that they spent the first half of the Monte's auction time, yammering on and on about the previous car.

 

I was watching that too - kinda rude if you ask me. And my fiance was watching it in person - he's there! Wouldn't that make an awesome valentines day present LOL!!!!!
