While the Corvette world comes off of its Grand Sport high, lesser known details are beginning to surface regarding the 2017 C7 Corvette Grand Sport.
Corvette Blogger has deduced the latest, following photo evidence from Autoblog. The 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition will only see 1,000 examples. This seems to be the case after noticing the unique serial plaque, housing each Grand Sport Collector Edition’s build number with a wicked cool interpretation of the original Grand Sport, reads “0001/1000.”
The 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition arrives in a stunning Watkins Glen Gray/Tension Blue color combination, where the blue hue is exercised quite freely in the cabin, too. The 1,000 unit exclusivity likely comes from the original Grand Sport Special Edition, which graced the C4 Corvette. Only 1,000 examples were produced.
Surely, the Corvette team will provide official details surrounding the C7 Corvette Grand Sport, and the 2017 model year Corvette in general, at the upcoming National Corvette Museum bash next month.
