Thanks everyone for the encuragement without it i wouldn't have registered for the gold class compitition.

I make no mistake and realize it will be tuff compitition in this class. I do have some new mods for spring (although technically they don't judge on modifications) and I plan to polish all the stainless on and under the car and re-detail the undercarriage (Gold class they will roll a mirror under the car)

I have some work to be done on the Deuce by the guy (Gary Glenn) that did the air brush of the Monte crest under the hood, an order to place with Jar-head (Scott) and some body work to be done by Mason Auto Body. In all I will have about 2K worth of work to be done on the car before the Nats (so glad I have an understanding wife)

Tad,
The hotel is less then one mile from I-70. Been past it many times.
Get off I-70. Head west on route 40. Hotel is on the left hand side of route 40.

Richmond, IN is 57 (good number ) miles from my house. So my girlfriend Debbie and I go there for day trips.

Yes I plan on being at the '13 Monte Nationals. I mean I can almost push my car there. lol

If things work out we'll have two Montes there like in 2010.
Plans are to take thur/fri as personal days at work so we can drive to Richmond on thursday and stay for the weekend.

If things really go right we'll drive over wednesday afternoon in the '86 LS hang out for a while with any early bird arrivals, then come back home later in the evening. Then bring the '03 Pace car and '06 LTZ back on thursday.

Heres a shocker..

I just finished watching the video you get with your membership..

Many early models there along with what seems to be a lot of mid to late 80's models there. Hmmmm... A decent amount of 2000's and up...
I think I saw "1" 1997 there (it was red).... Lots of SS's there too!

I guess a 5th gen just doesnt cut the mustard?/ Despite haveing tons of Ideas...

So, Now Im kinda wondering if I should even bring or show mine?...
Hmmmmm..

Lots of stockers, customs and Hotrod styles... (drag setups)...
It was interesting to say the least... I will say.. I saw a cpl in worse condition than mine hehehehhe....
I dont think they won anything...but hey..at least they were there!

RJ it will be nice to meet you also...I'll be there 1 way or another.

I got a few estimates to have mine detailed ... The first place I went to wanted $700.00 for just the body and interior....

So, I called one of old sponsors when I first bought it and was showing it 14 yrs ago...

He referred me to a guy that does detailing....Even though hes 57 miles from me now..(I use to live on that side of the state)...

He said hed detail it all out...interior,exterior, and under the hood for $250.00! So, guess where I will be takeing it to before the NMCOA...
Then it will be garage kept til the show once its finished....Getting it done in the spring....

So, hopefully Tad and Matt.. we just have to tweak her a weee bit
Once we get there...
Thanks again for the help in Advance!
