I like the new look of the Viper. Maybe it just seems fresher than the Vette, cuz it looks good too. It'd been nice owning the ZR1 cuz you'd know you got the biggest dog in the yard. The ZR1 is probably the fastest on track in the world. It is at Laguna Seca at least...
#13
I have questions Mod `Michael I always have questions Tell us why you chose the ZR-1 Why do you think it's better ?
I do like the design of the Viper & the sounds of the V-10, but I also chose the ZR-1....I'd love to have both to compare, but I'd be happy `if I could find a dealer to let me test drive both of them b-4 I decide (That is, after I hit the Big Lotto) LOL (It is a super dream 4-Sure)
Thanks Michael, for your post
#16
I'm look'in 4ward to the 2014 new Vette & more power being released next year I'm sure it will just be a Bigger Dream 4 `me to dream `bout (that is until I win the big lotto & buy one) & if it's a really big lotto win , I might just buy both "2 dare 2 dream in SpaceVision"

With the ZR1 finishing the course a full 2 seconds quicker I don't think it was begging for much mercy. Actually the driver of the ZR1 was probably misunderstood. He wasn't saying 'Mercy! Mercy!' he was saying 'You see! You see!' while elbowing the driver of the Viper about beating him!
#19
..but they didn't...I'd hear that excuse every time I beat someone in a Race....They would say just wait until I get better tires, a bigger Turbo etc..., but they didn't...they lost I still believe that a good driver can make a big difference 4-Sure Thanks `Mike 4 your continued support for the SRT...they should hire you in their public relations office
Thanks 4 your post & keeping this topic interesting 4-Sure..
"Dreams are still `free" ~> Keep Dream'in (lol)

Statistically, the two cars are virtually a tie. So it all comes down to the driver's abilities, and personal preference.
Me being a car guy, I'm willing to admit the Viper is a beast. And I'd be more than happy to test drive one. But if the performance is virtually the same, I'll take the ZR1. I do prefer GM cars. I like the look of the Corvette better than the Viper. And I'm excited to see what changes will be made in the next generation of Corvette.
