Thanks guys. So far I've only got to drive it once. It seems pretty fast.

It has the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Very easy to hit one while you're driving and shift the trans in to another gear.

I think it's cool the transmission has a performance and economy mode(s). You don't really change the position of the floor shifter to shift in to other gears. It moves momentarily but once you left go it slips back in to the position it was in. And still changes gears.

pretty cool. i think it is a neat touch with the 0-60 timer built in. Not sure if that is standard or optional.

It would be the RT 5.7L and it would have be an auto cause since it's going to be a DD I don't want to deal with manual in rush hour traffic. Also the auto has displacement on demand and gets a little better gas mileage.

cool. it will be a fun car for sure.

i hope the displacement on demand is better than the one on my Monte. ever heard of any trouble with that feature? or is it just a GM issue?

I have no idea - I really haven't heard of anything but I just started to do the research.

yea. mine hasnt been a problem yet but come spring i am getting it tuned out. it is kind of annoying to me. but i havent drove a dodge with DoD it may be completely different.

This has me wondering....GM only used the name Displacement on Demand in 2006 and changed it to Active Fuel Management in 07 and up. wonder if that was because Dodge was using it first i have always wondered why they changed it
