Smile 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe : )

I'm just waiting 2 hit the `Lotto 2 get one 0-60MPH in 3.9 Sec

2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe

Cadillac is out to prove that General Motors can do performance just as well as Germany with the sexy 2011 CTS-V Coupe. Powered by the same 556-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that turns up the heat in the CTS-V sedan, the CTS-V Coupe can rocket from zero to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. Buyers will be able to opt for a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic with steering-wheel shift paddles. Cadillac's Magnetic Ride Control adjustable suspension improves handling without hindering ride quality, and Brembo brakes provide the stopping power. The CTS-V Coupe will go on sale this summer. The price? More than the sedan's $60K sticker, plus a few speeding tickets...4-Sure

CowBoy `Duane, that's a good point, but the Vette only can
have one passenger, and the Caddy U can take the `BeachBum's
along with you
When my g/father had his Vette, we always got in a arguement
on who got 2 ride in the Vette
I love the Corvette, and `if I win the Lotto
I'll get both
I'll take the one below

Then I'm going to play up my role as the resident Fard/Devils advocate and say for $60,000 I'll spend $48k on the new Mustang GT500 and put the other $12,000 to a speeding ticket fund! Wow~WeE I've just never been a fan of the Cadillacs after about the 70's. When my parents were looking for a new car, they checked out Lincoln Town Cars and Cadillacs, and the Caddies just had such cheap looking, plastic interiors! I couldn't believe they got away with calling that a luxury car! The car you post looks better though.... but I think I'd overlook it and instead look at the Corvette v. GT500.

The Ford was quick off the line as usual, because they generally (back in the 60's and 70's especially) had taller blocks, longer connecting rods, and more torque... but the GM's are there to beat them in the end! I wonder if there were any mods involved on either car? Good race really... but for the money, I think I'd still have to take my Crapstang.... or atleast spend the money from CTS-V on a 'Vette!
