Default 2009 Malibu vs. 1959 Bel Air

Which car did you think would come out better in a crash test between a 2009 Malibu and a 1959 Chevy Bel Air?

Find out the Insurance Institute's results in the video in the link below.

I want to kick the a$$ of the person who handed over a mint 1959 Chevy to "them".

My internet at work is to slow to watch right now...but i'm guessing the Malibu is safer? Most of the newer cars are safer than the older ones.

They said the person in the Bel-Air would have been dead, and the Malibu light scratches.

I believe that! People just don't get it...makes me laugh when people say "I wouldn't want to get in an accident in one of these newer cars with all that plastic"..."you were so much safer in those big old cars with those steel bumpers"

Yea ok people...have you ever heard of a crumple zone!!??? Try hitting your head on that solid metal dash board, and try hitting it on that plastic/ vinyl one, and see what you think feels better!

WHAT THE FLIP!!!!

I had to stop watching. I couldnt stand seeing a Beautiful 59 Impala being destroyed. I dont care if they are trying to show what car is safer or that its their 50th anniversary. Its a CRIME to destroy that Impala.

I'm still going to buy me my 60 Apache one day.

I feel the same way JJ. But you may have to answer to RJ for calling a Bel Air an Impala. :p
