you will never find another set of lights like mine LOL
I made thsoe my self and they have LED's in them, when the park lights light up they will glow red also.
other then that they look like the black lights.
I love them they make the whole front end of our cars look sooooo much better.
If you get socal SS to giv eyou a photo of his now he has them in his also. he just bought the new black lights. on a black car im sure it would look real Tuff.

well do you have a dremel tool? or somthign like it?
get your self one of those stock suckers they are selling real cheap out there.
then cut it apart and take some simpel green and a tooth bruch to the parts in side of it that you want black. being careful not to do where you dont want it black. If you do this it will turn it dull and black at worse case.
then you use some clear resn glue and put them back together. it is not that hard to do and they are easy to make . Jus thave to be carefule not to get anythign on the parts you dont want black.

1. remove head light from car
2. clean surfaces real well
3. draw a cut line on the head light just behind the clear lens but on the black part of the light ( i would cut it so it is a straight 90 deg. cut instead of tryign to just cut the lens off)
4. get a old tooth brusha dn some paper towels.
put some sipel green in to a contailner or cup that you can use.
5. dip the paper town in to the simpel green and rub everthing in head light but th ereflector portion of the head lights.
use the tooth brush to get the stubbron parts.
MAke sure you get everythign that you want black wiped down and also clean the lens so that anycut debrie wont be left in the light.
6. us either silicon sealer or a resin epoxy that dries clear to glue everthing back to geather .
7. let stand for at least one night.
8. reinstall bulb and light in to the car.
9. turn a hose on to them or wash the car thsi will let you know if htey are sealed or not. If they fog up they are not sealed good enough So take some silicone sealer and go over the seam to seal it .
If no fog your good to go.
10. Enjoy your new dark head lights and take the 300.00 to use on something more fun.
i did mine a bit diffrent i actually cut threw the seam of the lens and the black plastic. I would not recomned this. i plan to ge tnew lights and do mine over for this reason. From a distance they look great btu if you really look at them you can tell they were done this way.
I would actually cut behind the rubber seal on the light so that you can hid the cut seam from sight when the hood is down.
if you need more help let me know i will help ya the best i can from over hte net.
I cut mine apart and started out in the Am taking my time it took me till earlie that eve., Now i was chasing a kid threw this also. and doing other stuff to.
the hardest part was cutting them apart with out getting the line to crooked.

do you have any close up pics and bigger pics of the finished product..i'm definetely considering this
how does the simple green make the stuff black?? i thought you'd have to paint them..
