2 year anniversary
Well today marks 2 years since I got my 97 monte. I was looking for something cheap to use to commute to school and this kind of fell in my lap at only $1000, test drove, nothing was wrong(too my surprise) and this was the day I paid for it and got the keys, put it on the road the next day. Got it with around 134,300 miles, now i'm at just over 167k
In 2 years we have done just about 33,000 trouble miles, only thing I've had to do besides oil changes is 2 tires and front struts. And shortly after I got the car I found this forum, and what a great place it is. We really are like a family here
Here is a few then and now pictures.
Un painted wheels, still had a window visor on it and old yellowed headlights
No dent Almost no gas tank rust back then, and still had leftover bumper stickers from po's
Now some more recent shots, new headlights, led fog/running lights and plastidipped wheels. Removed the bumper stickers and left over window visor.
Unseen is the dent in the left rear I did

Well this is a great Monte story, you bought her and have near nothing to gripe about. You must have bought a Wednesday Monte.... Like the creative water reflection photo's, had on your floods and rubber boots to get out eh? Hope the next two years go just as smooth.
