Talking 1998 LS1 Z28 Camaro Black with T-Tops

Well as most of you know I purchased the z28 today. Specs are; LS1 v8, 323 posi rear, automatic, monsoon sound system, power windows, mirrors, and drivers seat. I got it for 2600 and I need to put a new motor in it or rebuild the one that is in there. It is black with a charcoal grey interior. I will post updates to this thread as they come along. It already has a flow master exhaust, and billet grill so that is a good start. Minor things that I am doing are fixing the tint on the drivers side, also there is a two small dents in the drivers fender that need fixed. It has 123,000 miles on it and is in perfect condition inside. I am putting a set of angel eye projector headlights on, black chrome wheels, and a new motor with long tube headers, a mild cam, and tune. Should be done in September and driving again. I will add more pics as I take them. It needs a bath something awful.

I am looking to get these headlights. The black housing will be nice.

My Mom checking it out.

The ride home

You're going to love your new ride! The LS1 is a GREAT engine, but IF you have to replace it, I'd seriously look for an LS2 instead, or an LS3, or ........ an LS7???
I think you got a good deal. Enjoy it.

Wayne it will all just depend on money and what my options are. Ideal for me would be to do a 383 stroker motor, but will have to wait and see.
