Man I'm going to be sad the day this forum is no longer, in the meantime, I'll keep trying to post here and there. Some of these are older pics, but I've started restoring this car little by little. This car totally doesn't deserve it, but I have a tendency to do things that I know I shouldn't be doing.

Started by pulling the dealer add-on spoiler and polished the trunk area. Before:

I've since started working through the engine bay, painting things here and there with parts that I have laying around. My goal is to budget restore this. It's not going to be perfect, in fact, it's going to be far from it. But it's going to be better off than it would have been sitting where it was sitting.




I'll keep posting progress on this if folks are interested. The hood is off for paint and bumper will be getting paint at the same time. Rattle can special, but I think I can make it look decent. Wheels will be getting restored next.

I'm excited for this little project, but I have a few other projects and this is far down the list.

 

Absolutely interested. I don't know anything about these, but it is really cool to watch!
