Thumbs up The 10 Best Discontinued Cars

I found this interesting.

Exciting to see the G8 make the list.
As to someday I hope I can find one for a decent price.
..that is if i can get my wife to change her mind about buying an Acura TL

I'm glad to see that the Pontiac solstice was on the list. We've got LadyT's GXP tucked away in the front of the garage. That car has a following like I've never been part of. So EASY to get HUGE power from these little cars. Nationals next year are going to be at Canton, at the Football Hall of Fame. Hoping to make 2 Nationals this year, the Solstice/Sky Nationals and the Monte Nationals.

The Intimidator SS is MY car! It's a MONTE CARLO, and I agree, it SHOULD'VE been on the list, also. Just TRY buying a full size 2 door coupe new. A Solara?

In the Solstice, there is no GT. It's the base 2.4L N/A car, or the GXP with the 2.0L Turbocharged direct injected Ecotec. The direct injection of the gas (on top of the piston) controls detonation. We have seen 26 pounds of boost on this car. It's rated at 350 BHP (285 WHP) with the Wester's tune it has. Others have more. There are several with over 300 WHP. And STILL get 26-28 mpg.

You are lucky Wayne, that's a hell of a lot of miles to the gallon!!!
Get that much mpg in such a powerful & lovely car!
There's no reason/excuse to NOT drive it everyday
