I like it. The faux louvers look kinda cool. You might get a few people asking you what the deal is with the stickers on the window. But when you know what they're supposed to be, they look good.

It may be a trick of the pictures, but the red stripe looks a tiny bit too thin. I would've went with a slightly wider red stripe. The same as the 2002 Dale Earnhardt edition Monte.

As for the SS badges. No, it's not a real SS. But if you have performance mods planned for the car, I'd say you get a pass.

Overall, I like it. Good job!

Nice work.

I heard PA has passed a law against black cars. And a black Monte Carlo = you're asking for trouble. So I'll be over this weekend and take the car off your hands. lol

Real friends give you honesty when you need it.

The people who will most appreciate your car will make fun of the ss decals. You can't put them on a car that isn't, especially when the power discrepancy and differance in appearance between the two is so great. I have an 06 ltz, and I love the paint on your car, but those decals can come back to haunt you.

I like everything except the SS badges and side window decals.

Great mods. How about raising the Monte script to fit the original place. Seems too low and out of place. I would of personally made the two long scoops for pinstripes on each side to bring out the curves. Paint looks flawless too. Any DIY steps?

I agree with what he says about those who truly appreciate the car but i can also agree with Taz and the idea that if you are going to upgrade the power of the car i can let it slide in my book

I think the gray effects on the bottom are the coolest. I have been really happy with mine and i am looking into getting new ones as my front and back are barely held on.

I'm not a fan of the louvers either. Not just on there but on any car. I've never liked them. The silver and red look amazing tho. are the rally stripes gonna be outlined in red too. Ive seen that somewhere before and it looks pretty hot.

The rally stripe kit is just all silver, too bad, the red trim would have looked cool. As for any engine mods, nothing for her(she is 65). Maybe if I ever buy it from her, I will. About the Monte scripts, that is just where I thought they would look best. They also had the SS to go with it, but that would have just been repetitive. The silver pin stripes were already on there, but I am thinking of removing them. The TPMS sensors are coming today via fedex, so if they come at a early hour, I will have the wheels installed. She is very very happy with it so far. I know some of you have frowned on the SS emblems, but I couldnt change her mind on that one. I will post some pics if I get the wheels on today.

All very opinion, but...

I'm not a fan of badges in altogether - I'd rather remove them then add more. I like the red and silver, but I don't like the other pinstripe you have on the car up higher there. It doesn't follow the Monte Carlo body lines (which are very hard to follow - I haven't seen many stripping jobs I do like). I'm still not sure about the faux louvers - I don't mind the faux-ness of them, but I'm not sure I like any louvers on these cars.

I think maybe this car already has too much going on, but then I'm one too talk! But I try to stay with one theme. Like the louvers would look good with more blackouts. Or the badging with more chrome accents. Or pinstripping with "exotic" paint.

One more thing. Aren't the Nascar Goodyear tires only available in 16"? That's what I found, but maybe something has changed. Nothing wrong with 16's IMO tho.
