Ryan... Love the new sig! I didn't know they made an SS kit for the 5th gen Z34's. Is it just the ground effects, or is there more to it?

Robyn... Hang in there. As tough as it is, don't go running back on a whim. If he broke it off, try to move on. Everybody has gone through break ups. We all know how it feels. Talk it out with a close friend. A lot of times that helps to ease the pain.

I originally had a longer post about this. But I figured it's too soon for any advice on what's next.

Feel free to vent on us all you want!

 

this spring we got a sonics just into the next town (west st. paul) ...wasnt as good as i thought it would be...and an A&W just opened up down the road...thats what i had for dinner tonight twas good

Justin, every year one of the local A&W's has a weekly meet every tuesday afternoon during june, july, and august. Depressing to think there's only a couple left for this year. Then a lot of the cars go into storage. The last meet of the year is a grim reminder that 6 months of winter is approaching. UGGHHH

On the bright side, this weekend is supposed to be nice and warm! Woo Hoo!

 

evening, everyone. well, i had a pretty laed back day today, of course the simple things i tried to do today blew up in my face, lol. i decided i should wash the monte, it was a super nice day, and the monte was looking really skuzzy after sitting outside for a week and a half. so first i could not find the bucket / carwash / towels i use, then i see them setting next to my buick in the gradge. so i sidestep around all the other crap in there, and my brand new cargo shorts cought on the end of the peice of stainless trim on the rear 1/4 panel, and * pink !* ripped it halfway off beofre it tore through the leg of the shorts. then i had a 15 minute cursing fit, and finally got to start on the monte... so i was it up, and it looks REALLY good.... i dry it, and noticed the clearcoat had some scraches on it... DEEP scraches... and now that im lookin, so does the roof & hood! WTF!!!! so i go back and look at the towel i used, and noticed that there was a tiny twig cought in it, that i did not even notice! F***!!!!! and to top it off, my 2 week old shoes are alwready falling apart, and i have to run up to matamorris to return them! GAHHHH!!!!! why do such nice days like this have to go crappy???? sorry, needed to vent.....



taz, to answer you on my dads SS 5th gen, im almost positive its factory, but i have found things with the car that kinda point to it being modded when it was brand new. i have never seen the front / rear ground effects, but the side rocker molding looks like a razzy peice to me... the front airdam has fog / driving lights in it ( looks awsome), but we have yet to find out how to turn them on.... plus someone did alot of scary somewhere along the line, and the interior electronics short out pretty frequintly. but the 3.4 & trans all work great, with gobs more power than my 3.1 . from what i can tell, it would just be the ground effects / foglights, SS decals, and big spoiler added on top of the Z34 package

Taz... he didn't break it off. We both kind of did. It was the best considering the situation, then again I think HOW STUPID was I to get involved with somebody who is still married? I mean Im still LEGALLY married but I would LAUGH if my ex fell off the face of the planet... HE MAKES ME SICK.....

I look at it this way. He cheated on her, he'll cheat on me WITH her, and he needs time to straighten his life out he's going through a layoff, is losing a LOT of money, trying to get a job doing private flights, I KNOW what it's like. He's a very manly man, he wants to be able to provide. He maintains that I am VERY VERY VERY important to him... but at this point I do not believe NOTHING anybody says to me POINT BLANK... I have been lied to too many times to know the difference between the truth and a lie...

The Truth shall set you free, and lies will be the ties that bind I always say....

I was starting to get addicted to him too... Oh well..... I'm a good lookin girl with a good lookin car... somebody will come along... hopefully... I just hate being single... I haven't been single in so long I can't even remember.... It just hurts because of all the lies I've heard, it makes me have NO FAITH in humanity..... :P

 

WHats up everyone.

Alot has been running thru my mind, that i think i get more grey hair. As some of you know, i posted that the 3100 has been getting a bit tired, so i have to start working on a plan. I did some research and because i dont have a garage, i have to pay someone to do what I know how do to. Mechanic work. I have been pondering the idea that maybe its time to trade my car in for something else. But i am not even close to being ready for another 3 years of payments.

I dont see any other solution then to get BACK into payments again. I have been thinking that maybe i might get me a Toyota Prius and not worry much for a very long time.

I'm just kidding. After a whole lot of soul searching, i decided that i'm going to keep the car and fix it myself somehow. I will look at renting me a storage and stripping me a Z34 in it and just dump the shell at the scrapyard.

Now my question. Other then the gaskets, What is really so bad about the 3.4 DOHC. I know that there is very little after market parts, but i also know that its a killer engine right out of the box.

I really need everyone's help now. I need to make a real educated decision. I am not looking to set the land speed record. Just a bit more performance then the 3.1 i have now.

So how about it? Help a brotha out.

You'd have to worry about us kicking your a$$ for a very long time.

If you do get a donor Z34, why not grab some of the other Z34 add ons and throw them onto yours. Or be sure to sell the salvage-able parts from the donor.

 

OOO. Sounds like fun.

Thats already thought of. I would definitely turn it into floor shift and everything else i could get off of it.The front bumper cover comes to mind also.
