Thanks Space, but after the incident down at the Tail of the Dragon this past August, I don't drive Lucy any more. I've ridden in her once since then, and that was to watch the sunset at South Haven a week or 2 ago. (I posted pic's).

My Monte is MY get away, if I need to. Actually, the MCF is my get away, most of the time!

 

mornin, everyone! i think this can actually be concidered morning, lol. im going down to jersy to help my dad out with the pacer i posted pics of in with the dead mans curve thred.... and then we arehopefully gonna go up to see rays cars on the mountian, scince its only a couple of miles from dads work. im bringing my camara

and an update on my "country fried monte".... we & my dad took a better look at it when he got home, and we were lookiing at everything behind the engine, and nothing was melted.... and im like WTF? it was ON FIRE, lol... then we found it: when we were doing the o2 sensor, me or him musta dropped a small rag down on top of the exaust pipe, one that was SOAKED in spray lube, greese, & lots of other fun flamible crap.... musta not noticed it, black rag in a spot we could barly see in the daytime let alone at 9:30 pm... so that was what burned.... and the white smoke? well, that is the bad news... the car is PUKING antifreze out of somewhere, onto other hot engine parts.... it runs & idles still, but i had it running for, like a minute & all you could smell was antifreze....
so well see what happens....

I just have a min. On my way to WallyWorld. We were in the emergency room last night. Jonny coughed up a bit of blood and took him at 1:45 am. Turns out he has bronchitis. So were on our way to get what meds he needs.

Good Afternoon,

Well i slept in this morning....ahhh it felt great! I'm such a nice brother, I let my sister take my Monte for the day...LOL. She kinda begged, so I said fine, take it...but if there is one tiny dent on that thing, I will have your freakin neck! She just grinned and took the keys.

Dad and I had to fix her car today...So jackass in the school parking garage hit her mirror while she was in class...it was hanging down, with broken glass. So we bought a whole new mirror. Had to take apart the dor panel to get to it, and get to the plug for the electric part. The frame part of the mirror got bent to, which was a surprise for us. But we played body shop, and got it good enough that the new mirror sits in there very well. It looks 100% better than it did before, and now she has a new mirror. The mirror actually looks better then the rest of the car because it has fresh paint on it, and the being its a 10 yr old black car, the paint does not look all that new...LOL

So otherwise, just a relaxed day...i'm going to get in the pool soon!

LOL Space, I'd let you drive it, but rest assured, I would have amber alert signs up for a Laser Blue (very rare color) Monte Carlo RS (also very rare)....i'd find your butt, and then cream it! LOL! JK!
