The 2012 SEMA Auto Show is still months away, but we already have the first details on the models set to be displayed at the show. Bo Zolland is famous for his tuning kits for models like the Porsche Carrera S, but for SEMA, Bo Zolland has prepared a very cool tuning kit based on a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro.
The first details offered by Bo Zolland suggest that he will try to keep the original Camaro’s look, but it will still feature extensive body modifications. Most of the work will be done under the hood and in the vehicle’s mechanical parts. The new Camaro will be powered by a supercharged LS3 V8 engine and will feature a series of other parts borrowed from the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette. These parts will include a braking system and suspension bits, among other things.
The first teaser images of the Chevrolet Camaro by Bo Zolland show the car in various colors. Check them out and let us know which color you think should be used for the show car. Also, make sure you stay tuned as more details are sure to follow in the coming months.

Space, 1969 camaro ZL1..
©2007 Publications International, Ltd. The ZL1's all-aluminum 427 was competition-proven in Can-Am racing. It weighed a mere 500 pounds -- and produced more than 500 bhp.
It was similar in design to the most-potent iteration of the aluminum-head L88, but it was the first production Chevy engine to also have an aluminum block. It shared the L88's 430-bhp factory rating, but actually had over 500 bhp -- making it likely the most powerful engine Chevy ever offered to the public. And it weighed just 500 pounds -- about the same as Chevy's 327-cid V-8.
©2007 Publications International, Ltd. The Camaro ZL1 was fully street-legal, but at a price of $7,200, it was best suited to professional drag racers who could recoup some of its cost in prize money.
My Dad had a 1967 camaro SS with 396 / 4 speed , my wife had 1978 camaro 305 /auto , I had 1977 camaro 350/ 4 speed..
