The road from LA to Vegas is loaded with high hopes. The road back, for many, is paved with despair. Along the way, the Country Store shimmers like an old-timey oasis of soft drinks and good fortune. If you lose in Sin City, you can still win here....Continue reading

Route 66 in the Deuce back in 2007 from Oatman AZ. to Chicago IL.
All on route 66 - Caught up with a Corvette Club in the dessert of New Mexico
Followed them through the dessert we had our cruse control set at 110 mph

My trips through wyoming in rental cars have been pretty interesting, i don't think i have any particular favorites in the monte as the furthest i've gone with it to date is GM nationals. I really want to travel this country some day, many places i'd love to travel and visit.

Favorite road trip in the Monte, was when I first met my current wife, one day I was at work and called my aunt and uncle and asked what they were doing that night, and they said they were gonna have a small party so at 7 oclock when our shift ended we jumped in my car, stopped by the house and grabbed one of my acoustics and drove 3 hours to have a kitchen jam, we sat up until 4 in the morning singing in my aunt's kitchen, there was about 12 of us that ended up enjoying the evening.
Favorite road trip overall, was when I was kid and my parents took us down the west coast to Los Angeles, in the back of a bright yellow van, ,with no seat belts, lol, nowadays if they did that trip they would be on the front page of the newspaper and probably be charged with child neglect but back then it was quite normal. And we did get to go to Disney and visit long beach, and crossed the golden gate bridge.
