Vaughn Gittin, Jr. unveils 2015 Mustang RTR

A better, and better-looking, Mustang?

Pro drifter Vaughn Gittin, Jr. is finally ready to drop his racy new Mustang RTR. The car will debut at SEMA and be available via select Ford dealers, and it looks the business. Frankly, the 2015 Mustang's biggest issue is that, if anything, it doesn't look mean enough. Problem solved! The RTR gets new spoilers, splitters, a pretty wicked-looking diffuser, new grilles—with illumination in the top one, making up for the sadly departed driving lamps, and the best-looking wheels I've seen for that car, period.

Mustang RTRAll the appearance stuff is for the Spec 1 cars, which leave out performance mods. The Spec 2 adds an RTR-specific tune, Magnaflows (again, RTR-specific), revised suspension, a cold-air kit, and an optional blower. Also making its way to SEMA, but not yet revealed, is an even more extreme RTR Spec 5 concept, which takes the formula even further. Stay tuned.

I like it except I think I still like the past years before. I think it just has to many curves in the wrong areas. Like the front headlights jut look goofy to me being that curved. It looks smaller to for some reason maybe it is.

Yes I like it, but not as much as some older models. It would be a bad *** car if you did not compare it to where it came from. It is fast though.

I am still a Monte and Camaro guy, CHEVY in my blood Baby!!

Hi `Keane,
I like the new Mustangs, but still like the Camaro's also.

I can't wait to be able to test drive them both...
Thanks for your post

Hi `Tommy, thanks for your post & YES, I really liked the comparison test between the Camaro & Mustang, but I won't reveal who won & let the member's watch the `vid (it's a well done vid) to see who the winner is ? ? ? ?

I would love to have a job like those test driver's...WoW, they really drove those cars hard to see what they could `do

Makes me want 2 `go out (or I should say > send someone out) & get some lotto tickets (lol)

I'm thinking exactly the same as Zach.

And I think this Mustang is some sort of transitional design - it supposed be a halfway between what the Mustang looked like last year and what the next generation of Mustang will look like. Which there going to have to release soon, because I think this design is going to fall flat on its face. Sales will plummet.

But this Roush RTR one looks as good as any Mustang their making now. I like the wheels and I'm sure it's a blast to drive. I thought this Hennessey Mustang looked better, but it's kinda rendered.
