Kinda sucks Space - and I know Chicago is going to be one of the top most expensive cities whoopie! But hopefully by next summer I won't need to put premium in my car anymore because I will be driving a different car.

Yes `Amy,
It sucks big time & puts a damper on my dream to own & be able to afford a high performance car + it affect my bottom line at my job my company depends on fuel & sure can cut into our profit's thus subtracting from pay increases
I hope you get a good replacement that is good on MPG's & that you will enjoy driving...I may have to just stay on my bike/skateboard & surfboard Thanks 4 your post & yes, unfortunately Chicago also seem to have high fuel cost
Good Luck to you & all member's that like to get out & just drive to have fun....& mod

I was hoping the same with the Camaro. Hooked up a scanner to monitor my KR on regular and I was knocking anytime the throttle was pressed over 10%.

Once I dropped in premium the knocking went away.

I just hate the gas prices game. We don't even get 10% of our oil from the middle east, and the prices rise this much just because of some turmoil. Heck, we are even EXPORTING our own oil. I hate the games that are played with our wallets every time a re-election is coming up.

Yeah I hate it when I think about even the mid 90's when I could fill up my s10 and my wifes car for what I pay for a half a tank today.
