I like the last generation of em, my dad had an 80s SS that he put a fuly chromed 383 in it than traded for a new corvette bad trade imo

I also like how GM styled it after different cars. The impala in the early years, then the chevelle, then the malibu and the monte carlo.

I like the 3rd gen best!
I know of a 1978 by me that has 900 original miles. The guy want's 21k for it...

I too like the 1970 El Camino....Especially with Big V8 HP.

But im an old school guy....I liked the styleing of the 1959 or 1960 models...LOVED THOSE "FINS"....and tear drop tail lights..

Report: Chevy El Camino Still Being Considered for U.S.


A Holden VE Ute-based Chevy El Camino is still being considered for the U.S., according to a report by GM Inside News.
The El Camino isn't approved for production yet, which is said to depend on gas prices. If it's given the greenlight, the ute would launch in the 2013 calendar year. Documents obtained by GMI list the car-truck as "El Camino" under the program code Z2RC.

For `Life & 4-ever...I just got back from the Post Office & there was a 70 Camino there that was like brand new...I wish I could've had time to wait to talk to the driver or wish I had a camera to take pictures...I do love them & hope GM/Holden bring them to the USA
