I am torn by Loyalty to Peyton Manning and the excitement around Cam Newton and the Panthers. I have the edge going to the Panthers, BUT I think the stout Denver Defense and the cunning Peyton Manning are going to surprise Carolina and have a good shot at an upset.

Welcome back BBMike and thanks for starting the poll thread! I am soooo excited for the big game! This is the biggest football game of my lifetime - #50!!! I wasn't around for the first one and I won't likely live to see SuperBowl #100 - that's the next time the SuperBowl could be as cool as a # like 50.

The Broncos are my team and these days my mancave is more Bronco'd out than anything else. I wear a Broncos winter coat and touque, my barbeque cover is a Broncos cover. I have more Broncos gear than Dale Jr crap now and I drive a '95 Ford Bronco. I've got Bronco & SuperBowl 50 balloons up now, with all sorts of addition decoration to celebrate the climatic end of the most stellar career the NFL has ever know.

The Panthers had a great season, but a soft schedule. Cam Newton does not have "big game experience" and I think Denver's defense is going to destroy him. The Sheriff will deliver and tell the greatest football story ever.

Regardless of the outcome, I sure am excited to be able to enjoy such a big game so much more because my team made it to the show!

I say Broncos 21-17. Low scoring affair and I think the old adage of "defense wins championships" will hold true. It's exceedingly rare that the best offense overcomes the best defense on the occasions that the best units on each side of the ball meet in the Super Bowl.

 

i always go for the team that beats my team, since new england fell to the broncos then good luck to the broncos

 

Carolina Panthers will run the game their way, not going to let the Bronco's catch their stride. The Panthers have had a wonderful year, their team members are riding high with confidence. Denver's defense will be picked apart and left looking at each other. Panthers will win 38 to 17.
