well the flywheel problem woulda cost me 550 bucks, well..............when it shattered a piece of it got stuck behind what was left and ripped the rear main apart so thats gonna get replaced now. and of course with no flywheel the torque converter got loose bend the input shaft which in turn destroyed the innards of the converter and shot shrapnel thru the transmission so now i gotta get a new converter and a tranny rebuild......god help me

I feel for ya.
When transmissions are involved it can get expensive... FAST!
When the torque converter in my '86 LS went they originally told me it would be $1700 or more to repair my car.
Keep your head up. Things will start looking up soon.

yeah thers a lot of bright sides i.e. now that the tranny is gettin beefed up ill have better power to the pavement not to mention everything under the hood will be either new or close to it. there are soooooo many bright points but they are shadowed by the dark point that ive already paid 700 and i still gotta come up with 1000 more cos i cant get the car until its fixed so it'll be sittin in the parking lot of a lets say "less then desirable" neighborhood but yah s*** happens just gotta keep my head up and git r done
