Eventhough I only have 900 miles on my 02 Dale Earnhardt MC I don't think I will make any money off it. Not really a classic yet anyway.

I am looking at 67 - 69 Camaro's and a some vettes. Prices have dropped on Classic's and you can now get them at a decent price. Question is will the price go back up to where they were. Only Space knows for sure...

First Gen Camaros that are pretty complete are pretty pricey now-a-days.

Hi `Joe,
I really don't know, but I do know that life & investing is a gamble in our unstable economy today...

I know that there are costs to invest in classics; storage/upkeep/maintenance/insurance plus

But a classic is tangible & something that you can touch & enjoy...I believe that you have to really love the ride/vehicle that you would consider investing in 4-Sure...

The ones that are making $'s on auto investments have really done their homework before they commit. I wish I had the extra dollars to invest...If I did, I think I would invest in rides like the Corvette's I posted above...

I think your Monte is a Classic & believe it will increase in value...There's a buyer for every ride out there, but the special ones are the ones that demand a high price...

I've lost faith in the stock market...I've seen how much my grandfather & my senior citizen friends have lost It's really a very sad story on how many have lost their security in life.

Yes, I believe it pays to really take the time to research & do your homework in whatever you invest in & expect a decent return on your investments...

Good Luck on your search for the right ride 4-Sure

Yes `Mike 4-Sure they are
I think popular Muscle Cars are a great investment & their prices are
always increasing...(They don't make`them anymore) & the ones that wanted them in their youth & could not afford, are now in the position to buy a dream they once had....I think it keeps that market growing...

Those are nice vettes you posted Space but a litte more than I can pay.

I have found some decent Camaro's and Vette's in the 16k to 20k range. Some are not numbers matching for that price.

Number's matching is important to those that let their rides sit & never driven (Look what I have & you don't) They just enjoy talking about what they have, but never get out & enjoy their ride or their life

Update engines in classic's I still believe will increase to the buyer/enthusiat that wants to get out & enjoy their investment, but still maintain it in top condition.

I am only forming this opinion from my massive searches on
various vehicles of interest over the years on the Web & talking with other auto enthusiats.

A new car depreciates over 30% in the first year, but there are few classic's that will I know, apples' 2 oranges LOL

Good Luck in your search for the right one 4 U

I know that if I had a classic ? I would drive it and not save it for someone else...I would enjoy it...Life is 2 short 4-Sure...Just like your DE Monte, I would keep it nice, but I would not worry about the miles...I would enjoy my investment & take a small amount less `if I wanted to sell & get something else...p.s. I think it's important for any owner to keep excellent service/repair records on any vehicle owned..., especially a classic or limited models !!!
