dont come up to va if ya sneeze faster than 65 they will try to nail you..
then if they cant they try to get ya with illegal equip violations. like in my ranger i got stopped for supposed speeding. female officer who wasnt to aware of the rules... tried to get me for euro tailights that arent d.o.t approved told her where dot number was on lamps and that ford emblem was engraved into plastic lens. then tried for illegal turn signal because my lens was clear, factory was a yellow lens with clear bulb, i had clear lens with yellow bulb when i turned on park lights she dropped that one.. then she tried with the exhaust because the pipe came out the rear and she said that wasn't factory.. then i explained to her that the state rulebook says if you have a campershell with a rear window the exhaust must exit the rear... then she jumped on my flowmaster decal saying flowmaster isn't ford factory exhaust then i looked back at her cruiser 96 crown vic. this was in 04 i asked had that cruiser ever had exhaust work done and after telling me it was jermaine to the situation that she had picked it up yesterday from getting new exhaust installed. i asked that she must me tired from the trip from michigan and she told me no that they do it in their repair facility. i told her hey that's not factory exhaust either. then she proceded on my flowmaster sticker and i informed her it wasn't flowmaster (its was magnaflow witha 351 under the hood but she never asked definatley not stock for a 93 ext cab) i told her i also have an earnhardt jr. sticker on the same window and she had my liscence and she could see for herself that my last name won;t earnhardt.... not that i dislike the law but here in va they need to find something else to do besides harass those with nicer vechicles.. havnt gotten stopped in the monte yet.. knock on wood.. hope to keep it that way

I got one for speeding over 10 years ago in my 96 Grand Prix. Then I got one last May for turning down a street with a don't drive on this street between the hours of 7am and 6pm. Didn't see the sign and got busted.

Sounds like she had a quota to fill, and it was nearing the end of shift.

2 tickets, one for running a red light (the road was icy, I would have slid through the light, and it was right in front of the police station, LOL! It was yellow, officer, I swear to God!). The second licket was for going through a stop sign. They added this stop sign to an intersection that I had driven through for 20 years!! The VERY next day, there was an article in the paper about them changing the intersection. Amazingly, I have NEVER been pulled over for speeding, even though I lived in VA for 5 years when I was in the Navy, a testament to radar detectors and good eyes, I guess.

I got caught In a Speed Trap going to Class my senior yearin College. Morning rush hour.It was a 30 mph residential zone with no side streets just driveways. A pack of 5 cars i was the middle car going about 45. we go over a hill and on the other side a patrol car and a police bike with lights on, standing on the side of the road. The bike cop standing in the middle of the road with an orange vest on with his hand raised in the stop position. all five cars got a ticket. Price was $150 and 4 points,[:@]they clocked all of us at 46 MPH, if we clocked at 45 it would have been 2 points. It takes 2 years to clear 4 points in PA. 3 points per clean year.
Since the street has no cross streets 5-0 was in someones driveway well hidden clockin cars and then saying it over the radio.
My insurance did not go up though.
I did buy a radar detector and a year later same street going to work this time. Radar detector went off I was the first car in the pack. I slow down to 30, the soccer mom in the suv behind proceeds to tailgat the crap out of me. Sure enough we go over the hill 5-0 is there. I go by soccer mom gets flagged down.
End of story

the only ticket i have is a parking ticket...i was out of my car for less then 2 minutes, the lady just timed it perfectly and i had to wait for her to finish writing the ticket...was super pissed after that
