It's a 2005 Subaru Outback, pearl white with pearl gray trim. It has tan leather interior (which is PERFECT as transport for my two white Huskies.) It has about 73k miles on it, and when I bought it, the Carfax on it was the cleanest I'd ever seen. EVERY oil change and scheduled maintenance was listed, and done locally.

It drives like a dream (except it's a 4cyl, so take off can be rather slow) with a manumatic transmission, which I think also contributes to the less than stellar takeoff, but it's a wagon, so fast isn't really what I was looking for. I do feel like a soccer mom in it, though.

I don't have kids, but I do have dogs, and this is perfect transportation for them. It also gets good highway gas mileage - with 4 adults in the car, and our luggage, we got about 27.6 mpg on the way to Upstate NY (from TN) in July, with the air running full out.

Since it's AWD, I'm kinda looking forward to some snow, to see how it handles.

I named her Eirwen, which is Welsh for Snow White. I know, I'm a nut, but I always name my cars. :-)

Read this whole story for the second time. There was a dealer here that owned a salavege yard too and was ripping everybody off by saying motors and transmissions were rebuilt or when people would bring a car in for repair they would use used parts and charge for new Glad your happy with your new car.
