Looks like you got a real nice monte there. I always liked the black and silver. Is that a DE edition? Looks to me like an 02 SS Dale Earnhardt edition. Am I correct?

Hi, your right its a 2002 limited addition but not the DE. Wish it was, love this car. keep in in storage in the winter and even in the spring and fall, can't beat heated leather seats.

That makes sense then. I wondered why it didnt have the decals on the sail panels. I thought maybe you took them off. Still a beautiful car nonetheless. The only thing its missing is decals and signatures and a little certificate. Its still all the same carso I wouldnt mind having yours any less than a DE.

well I have always been a chevy fan and race fan for many years. The SS may not be the fastest car on the street but it is a nice blend of performance looks and comfort. All Monte Carlos have managed to keep this balance since the start. We have lots of car clubs here and I would really like to see more MC owners participate.

How many miles to you have on your SS ?
I like what you said about the Monte "The SS may not be the fastest car on the street but it is a nice blend of performance looks and comfort."<~ I agree completely.
We hope that you share/post more pic's, and we look forward to your future posts.

thanks for all the replies, winter in the peg does seem to last forever here - winterpeg. The car sits in storage almost half the year. I have 77K km on the car. When its Jan/Feb and its -40, I peek in my nice warm garage and see the MC sittingthere safe, I close the door and walk out to my frosty snow covered classic 1991 ford ranger. Sometimes its hard to take but in spring, you know why you did it.
