Default The Story of my 2000 Monte Carlo

Hello everyone!
First off, I'm new here. So hello.
I've been beaming with jealousy at all of the beautiful Montes owned by the people here.. but I figured I'd share the story of mine anyways.

I grew up driving a fully loaded red '99 Lumina LTZ. It was the best car I could ever ask for. I loved it with a passion.

One day, I was on my way downtown and as I was waiting for a truck ahead of me to turn, suddenly I was rear ended. Hard. It snapped my seat on impact and my Lumina was pushed into the truck ahead. The entire car was sandwiched and compressed and I had to be pulled out. My Lumina was a total loss.
I decided to then start searching for a new car. I have always wanted a Monte Carlo. I searched and searched until I found the perfect one... It was a wrecked one on Copart.com. Deer hit, insurance item from Prescott, Wisconsin. Run and Drive certified. Base model with cloth seats, black interior, and a 3.4 with 149,000.
I waited until that Friday and won the bid. We then went all the way up to Minneapolis to get it. It even included the deer's tail stuck in the remainder of the headlight.
Ever since, it's been a constant project. I've fixed the damage, put black leather seat covers on, I painted the bottom trim all black, added a black spoiler, dual exhaust, and for the memory, replaced the blue bowtie on the back with the black on I pulled off of my Lumina before it was sent off.

Who cares if she's a salvage title, she's still mine.
