Default Shorty vs. Full length headers

For my christmas present my parents are helpin me pay for something on my car, and what i decided was aftermarket headers and Flowmaster mufflers. I have a few questions, and any help is appreciated.

First I don't know which brand to get, and to be honest I don't care who makes them, or whether to get stainless or ceramic.

The biggest question I have is Shorty headers or Full length? I have heard both sides, and I have enough room for the full length, but my car is pretty low and I dont wanna scrape them.

For mufflers I was thinkin super 44's to make it sound nice, but I dont want it so loud its uncomfortable. I want an aggresive muffler, but I dont wanna get pulled over for noise as I did in my jeep. Any suggestions?

I'd personally go full length for the better sound if you have the clearance for them.
