Monte Of The Month -- July 2009

When life throws a curve, it really throws it at you full force.
Some of you already know me so i will start with "Long time, no see". Things have been a little crazy at my house for months. Mostly with my job. Got promoted and was relocated from OKC to Lawton, Ok. Trust me, moving 4 times in 2 years is not fun.
Been doing some work on my car too. These are new pics.
I finally removed everything that wanted gone and did some serious rubbing on the car. I also got my exhaust done. Got a new cat and a Flowmaster 40. I kept the resonator and it sounds great.
Working at my new store has given me something new to play with. Vinyl. I made me my Monte Carlo that i have on the trunk.
Well thats is for now. Tomorrow is Sunday so its time to spend it with the family.

Thanks man.
I got a few more ideas that i want to do this year. One of them being that i want to make vinyl overlays for the dash and the a/c. What i might do is buy a cluster from the junk yard and tinker with that. I'll be adding my own design to them of course. But that's not going to happen till after we get back from visiting PA next month during spring break.

Whats up Taz.
The center piece isn't perfect. Some of the filler that i used shrunk back. Time wasnt on my side so i just went ahead and painted it. There is still a gap around the rear reflectors. What i might do is get me another one from junkyard. This time i will take my time on it and let it shrink back all it wants and then refill it so it can stay smooth.
As far as the vinyl, i think i might make me another pair this week and use them on them rear section of the front fenders. Maybe.
