i bought an 06 monte i love the car but the idiot i bought the car from cut the harness off the back of the radio. i bought the interface to try and fix it. what doi do. i need the complete wiring diagram so i can fix my baby

 

Well if this was me I would try and find a salvage yard that had the 06 Monte Carlo in it. I see them all the time at the U-pull its and then you could see what you need and maybe retrieve it. the other option you could do is the Factory Service Manual ( I stress the word FACTORY) get them on ebay. But they are pricey they do have a DVD /cd version that might work also. see the link here.

The other thing is that it doesn't necessarily need to be a monte as there are often several GM vehicles that share the same plug / wiring. Usually Impalas are built in much higher volume and are easier to find.

Then you can just match color to color and solder it in.

Having worked in car audio for years back in college, it always drove me nuts when people would refuse to spend the money on an adapter because they'd just cut the harness. $1000 on a couple subs, box, amp - $750 on a roll out in dash tv. $8 adapter harness- nah, thats crazy.
