This is a specialty vehicle project we created here at the Round Lake Beach Police Department. A local Chevy Dealership donated the vehicle and sponsers donated the emergency lights and graphics. This is a fully operational patrol vehicle and will be on the street responding to calls and initiating traffic stops. I met one of your members at a local car meet and thought I would post some pics.

 

Dude that thing is freakin sweet! Is it just a stock SS or does it have any mods? Maybe the speed/tach governor removed? Or can you even tell us? Is it supercharged. Man that thing is sweet! If you ever find the time, post some more pics...I would love to see.

I have seen an elusive '05 Monte Carlo SS Nevada Highway Patrol car on our freeways here. It is unmarked for the most part, but you can see the light pods front and back and the radar mount on the dash. it has the "exempt" plates and a 4 digit number on the back and sides. I saw it in action a few months back and was mesmerized by the "cherrys and blueberries."

I'm in Vegas, man. I moved here in early 2002 from the Cayman Islands. I have dual citizenship through my mother, but I had to come here and get an SSN before my 21st b-day or I would lose it. Made it just under the wire...4 days before my b-day!!
